Catch up on your summer reading by visiting the Friends of the Plano Public Library Book Sale, where over 100,000 gently used hardbacks, paperbacks, DVDs and CDs will be on sale for $2 or less at the Plano Centre, 2000 E. Spring Creek Parkway. Admission is $5 to $10 for a sneak peek Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m., or get in free from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
