For Dylan Hollingsworth, the end of the beginning is another beginning--or something like that. Three years ago, the artist picked up a camera and, as they say, the rest is history. Documented history, that is. A three-year retrospective of Hollingsworth's photography, The End of the Beginning (2007 - 2010), is currently on display at the Magnolia Gallery. The photographs are "glimpses of life, the universe, and everything as I understand them, " Hollingsworth says. "I have been able to capture a lot of life in a short time." He professes a knack for capturing "people and moments" ranging from the simple to the eccentric. Check out the exhibition through May 25 at the Magnolia Theatre in the West Village, 3699 McKinney Avenue. The exhibit is free and open during regular theater hours. Visit magnoliagallerydallas.com.
