Doughregarde's

This new bakery works in tandem with restaurants at The Village; they supply the Our Daily Bread to Meridian. But, they also have their own cases full of pastries from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. They take some fun spins on classics, like a pecan sticky bun made with a nest of flaky croissant bread instead of the typical sweet bread. They also use local ingredients, like the Luscher's Red Hot kolache. They offer a variety of pastries, breakfast sandwiches and cookies. For lunch, try the fresh crunchy baguette that holds a generous amount of thinly sliced fatty and funky housemade capicola, with an equally lavish slather of French butter that is freckled with sour, crunchy cornichons.
